The Dean of TSBE’s Merit Scholarship is offered by the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE) to encourage high achieving off-shore international students to study at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) in 2020.
TSBE offers a curriculum that is driven by leading-edge research in business and economics, and the future needs of business, industry and professional bodies. TSBE’s curriculum is delivered using contemporary teaching approaches and offers a range of authentic work integrated learning experience with a strong grounding in modern business practices.
How much is available?
The scholarships are available for all study periods in 2020, each covering 50% registered tuition fees, including Student Services and Amenities Fees, for the full duration of the eligible courses.
How to apply?
Students are assessed automatically for the Dean of TSBE Merit Scholarship upon submission of their International Student Application; there is no need to submit a separate scholarship application.
Applicants who are found not meeting the eligibility requirements for this scholarship, will be then assessed for a Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS), which is the University of Tasmania’s premier international scholarship providing a 25% reduction on the registered tuition fees for the duration of the course.
To be eligible, you must
Be a high achieving off-shore international student who
- has an offer of a full-time place in an onshore TSBE undergraduate, honours or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Master of Professional Accounting, Master of Professional Accounting Specialisation, and combined degrees with other colleges),
- is commencing in Semester 1 or 2, or Accelerated Study Period 1, 2 or 3, 2020,
- has paid the commencement fee outlined in their Letter of Offer and provide evidence of payment as set out in the Letter of Offer.
