2020: a year of adaptability

We write to you as we head into the end of 2020 to send along our personal thank you message for your support during this surprising year.

It is no doubt that every corner of this planet that connects us has faced and addressed uncertainty on a scale that is unprecedented in our generation. Everyone involved with Sofiri has shown great resilience as we have confronted the challenge of continuing on our mission to help prospective students be placed in institutions across the world.

We are especially grateful for the concern and support you have shown to us as we worked on the evolution of our technology to embed new modern ways of reaching out to students.

With vaccine treatments now on the horizon, it is our hope that a return normality is within sight. For now, we send you all our warmest good wishes for the holiday season ahead, whatever tradition that brings for you, your families and friends.

2021: What’s ahead?
Here a few challenges we aim to achieve in the coming year!

China IQAP
Sofiri is established as a company in China and holds and ICP licence for the publishing of websites and apps. IQAP will be released in the first quarter of 2021 and will hosted with Amazon Beijing. Soon universities will be able target prospective students in mainland China with a peer-to-peer platform hosted behind the firewall and in Chinese.

Amazon Lex
Currently, our Facebook Messenger Bot experience is powered by Facebook’s Artificial Intelligence default platform wit.ai our plan is to build a more natural and rich conversational experience by incorporating Amazon’s machine learning expertise and their natural language processing (NLP) solution which can be used in our website, apps and bots in various languages.
