Western Sydney University is currently providing an exclusive free Opal card for applicants who accept the Offer of Admission for future intakes.
The physical travel card called Opal grants you access to the public transport in Sydney and New South Wales. You can travel anywhere from Blue Mountains to Bondi, or Goulburn to Sconeon metro, train, bus, ferry and light rail services, basically, anywhere within the Opal network.

How much money you will have in your card?
Western Sydney University announced a special bonus of AUD $250 card in addition of the current one of AUD $150. So, both Opal cards will worth AUD $400.

- Quarter 3 (June 2019)
- Quarter 4 (September 2019)

When will you receive your Opal card?
Opal card distribution will commence after CENSUS date. Details on collection dates, and terms and conditions will be communicated to students via email after they enrol at Western Sydney University.
