This Is The Best Time To Study In Australia

We are delighted to share that the Australian government will be refunding visa fees for international students who travel to Australia before 19 March 2022. Another reason for international students to feel confident about making plans to study in Australia!

Starting 19 January, international students and working holiday makers who arrive in Australia will have their visa application fees rebated to encourage more to enter the country.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has issued a call for international students and working holiday makers to “come on down” to Australia as the nation grapples with workforce shortages.

“What we’ll be doing is we will be rebating the visa application fees from all those who arrive today,” he told reporters in Canberra.

Additionally, due to current workforce shortages the Government is temporarily removing the limit on working hours for Student visa holders across all sectors.

Up to 400,000 foreign students will be able to work extra hours under a temporary relaxation of visa rules to ease crippling labour shortages.

These measures are temporary and designed to provide immediate assistance to Australian businesses currently facing critical workforce shortages. This will enable them to continue delivering goods and services to the Australian community.

With so many Australian universities offering partial scholarships and Sofiri’s fully online application process, there has not been a better time to complete your application process.
