The University of Canberra (UC) is offering a money back guarantee if the student visa is rejected.
Students can study with confidence in semester 2, 2020 knowing if their student visa for 2021 gets refused they’ll receive a full refund and credit for units studied.
Terms and conditions
UC will provide you with a full refund of your tuition fees (up to a maximum of four units) if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a new commencing student in Semester 2, 2020 undertaking study offshore via remote delivery (online) at UC (note UC College courses are not eligible for this arrangement).
- After commencing your online course, you apply for and are refused an Australia Student visa to study at UC.
- You provide UC with a copy of your visa refusal decision to UC within three months of the refusal decision and have not subsequently been granted another Australian Student visa.
- The reason for visa refusal is not related to fraud and there is no evidence of deliberate sabotage.

Each available degree will have at least two units available online for study in Semester 2, 2020. In some degrees you may have the option to study up to four units, should you choose to do so.
