Either a bachelor degree in social work or a bachelor in a related field followed by a masters in social work is needed to work as a Social Worker

The course is also helpful for those without prior undergraduate studies in social work who are interested in counselling and would like to determine if they can manage post-graduate level studies.

With the graduate certificate you will develop a clear appreciation of the rewards and challenges associated with a career as a professional counsellor, acquiring core counselling skills, an understanding of counselling ethics and an appreciation for how relational dynamics function in personal and professional settings.

Master of Social Work (Qualifying) [MSW (Q)]

If ready to study the MSW (Q), you can do this at Excelsia College in Sydney, Australia. Social work is an academic practice-based profession that promotes social justice, inclusion and wellbeing.
